My family

 

 

My family is large. We live in Samarkand. I have a grandfather, a grandmother, a father, a mother, a brother and a sister. We all live together. My grandfather is 66 years old. He is retired. My grandmother is 61 years old. She is also retired. They live together with us. My father is a man of 48. He is a tall and handsome man with short black hair and brown eyes. He is a teacher. He works at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages. He is a professor and is the author of several books. Sometimes he takes part in international conferences and visits foreign countries. He speaks English, German and French languages. My mother is a woman of 40. She is a very beautiful woman. She has brown hair and black eyes. She is a doctor. She works at a hospital. Mother always has a lot of work to do about the house and to the office. My parents are very kind people. My brother is a student. He is a handsome fellow of 19. He does well at the University of World Languages. He is a member of the English – Speaking Club aiming at giving a deeper knowledge of the subject and developing communication skills. English is his favourite subject. His dream has always been to become a translator. My sister is a girl of 16. She studies at lyceum. She is in the 11th form. She is pretty. She has dark hair and black eyes. Her hobby is foreign languages. She learns Arabic and French languages. She is going to enter the Institute of Oriental Languages. I have got two uncles and three aunts. They are all married and have their own families. So I have many cousins. Our family makes a happy family. I am Nargiza Odilova. I am a student too. I study at the Samarkand State University at the Economics Department. I am 4th year student. My dream has always been to become an economist. In my opinion, a job should be interesting and socially important. I need profound knowledge in the chosen field.

Our family is very friendly. In the evenings we spend time together.
